My love for animals and the outdoors has always been a large part of my life. When my family decided to get my dad a Siberian Husky, named Maya, for his birthday a few years ago, we were all very excited and captivated by how beautiful our new pet was. We brought her home from the humane society and quickly discovered how much work this endeavor was going to be: stains on the carpet, howling and barking at odd hours of the night, ALWAYS trying to run or play at the most inconvenient times, no evidence of obedience training whatsoever. At first, this was overwhelming, and it was hard to find time to give Maya the attention she needed. Right as Maya started to show signs of learning, I left for year-long trek across the United States. Upon my return, Maya had gained a few new skills, but was still the ball of energy I remembered. I vowed to walk with her every morning, training her step by step along the way, and keeping us both in good shape. The results have been amazing. With the help of positive reinforcement, Maya learned to sit without hesitation after only a week and a half, and has also become much more sociable with other dogs. She is noticeably happier, and I believe this is the main factor behind her new and improved listening skills. Having a happy, healthy dog has in turn, made me happier and healthier too.

My schedule is very flexible, and I can to take your dog out at any time of day.
I can run or walk with your dog for as long as you think is suitable, I'll play fetch or tug-of-war, I'll brush your dog if it sheds, and I can make sure that it has food and water if you are not home. I have an extensive knowledge of the roads and trails around Eldersburg, so if your dog has a favorite hiking spot, I have no problem taking it there to go for a walk. Every time I take your dog out, we will practice simple obedience exercises to encourage better behavior at home. The more I work with your dog, the better I can understand its personality and its habits, so that I can most effectively train it. If your dog has special dietary requirements or a certain medical condition, I can accommodate to your dog's specific needs. Really anything that you would do with your dog, I can do for you.
